Learn more about PrEP

Are you PrEPared? PrEP is medicine that prevents HIV. If you’re sexually active and do not have HIV, PrEP is available for you no matter your relationship status, health insurance coverage, or immigration status.

PrEP gives you added peace of mind for wherever the moment takes you.

It has been used for HIV prevention for over a decade and is very safe and highly effective at preventing HIV both from sex and from injection drug use. PrEP works by blocking the virus from attaching to your cells.

There are different options for taking PrEP, usually with minimal side effects. Many people report no side effects at all.

Whether you are new to PrEP, or have taken it in the past, PrEP may be the right choice for you now.
