About VEHSS data
VEHSS reports prevalence information from existing data sources to help health professionals, researchers, policy makers, and patients understand the scope of US vision loss, eye disorders, and eye care services. VEHSS also combines information from multiple data sources to create the VEHSS composite prevalence estimates—our primary estimates of the total prevalence of visual acuity loss and major eye disorders.
