Purpose
The TB Education and Training Network (TB ETN) collaborates with partners on TB education and training skills-building activities, shares information about TB learning opportunities, and highlights TB education and training efforts by local, state, and international partners.

Membership
Membership to TB ETN is open to all persons who have an interest in TB education and training. There are no membership fees.
Members include representatives from:
- Local, state, and international TB programs,
- Correctional facilities,
- Hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes,
- Federal agencies,
- Universities,
- TB Centers of Excellence for Training, Education, and Medical Consultation, and
- Other partners interested in TB education and training.

TB ETN and TB Program Evaluation Network (PEN) Conference
About the conference
The 2024 TB ETN and TB PEN Conference will be September 17–19, 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia.
This conference is jointly sponsored by TB ETN and TB PEN. It presents a unique opportunity for TB program staff to expand their understanding of TB education, training, and program evaluation.
We are eager to share updated information and best practices, as well as facilitate networking opportunities amongst conference attendees. Participants will learn from recognized experts in their field and from each other.
In addition, there will be an ETN Focal Point meeting (September 18, 2024) and the PEN Roundtable Session with CDC Program Evaluation Consultants (September 17, 2024).

Conference venue
All conference sessions will be held at the Marriott Courtyard Decatur, 130 Clairemont Avenue, Decatur, Georgia, 30030.
Lodging
The CDC has reserved a block of sleeping rooms at the Marriott Courtyard Decatur and the Hampton Inn at the Federal government rate of $173/night, plus tax. The Hampton Inn is next door to the Marriot Courtyard Decatur. Conference participants are responsible for making their own hotel reservations by August 16, 2024. Participants may reserve a room at either hotel by phone or online:

Meals
Participants are responsible for the cost of their meals. There are a variety of dining options in Decatur within walking distance.
Transportation
MARTA is an option to travel to and from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Decatur. The Decatur MARTA station is a few blocks from both the Courtyard Marriott Decatur and the Hampton Inn. The hotels do not provide a shuttle service.
