Key Statistics
Key Statistics present some of the most relied-upon findings from the National Survey of Family Growth. Estimates are shown for 2015-2017 and 2017-2019 data for women and men ages 15-49. Combined 2015-2019 data are shown for some estimates. Most estimates are based on special tabulations using SUDAAN Proc Descript and SAS Proc Surveymeans. Standard errors (SE) are included with each estimate. Estimates based on published reports include a hyperlink to the report. All estimates meet NCHS guidelines for presentation of proportions [PDF – 1.6 MB]. Key Statistics for women and men ages 15-44 based on 2002, 2006-2010, and 2011-2015 NSFG data are on this website: Archived NSFG Key Statistics.
