About
The Annual Hospital Report (AHR) is an interactive tool that uses National Hospital Care Survey (NHCS) data to produce data visualizations. The AHR portal produces reports with statistics that describe hospital encounters. The reports also include aggregate mortality data produced by linking NHCS data with data from the National Death Index.
Participating hospitals will receive credentials and instructions to log into the portal after submitting 12 months of data.
Demo portal
Hospitals that submit 12 months of data to NHCS can access the AHR portal. To demonstrate how the portal works for new and potential participants, we have created a demo version using mock NHCS data.
