HIV Planning Guidance (HPG)
The purpose of the HIV Planning Guidance is to provide CDC grantees a blueprint for the HIV planning process and flexibility to design and implement a participatory HIV planning process. This Guidance supports health departments in the implementation of HIV prevention programs supported by Funding Opportunity Announcement PS12-1201. The HIV Planning Guidance, formerly known as the HIV Prevention Community Planning Guidance, is available below.
Note: Funded jurisdictions should establish and maintain an HIV planning group (HPG) and a process that entails engaging partners and stakeholders in prevention and care planning.
