What's included

This information demonstrates compliance with the specific requirements of the Information Quality Act (2019) and of peer review standards developed by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and CDC. The OMB requirements, described in this White House memo, include making publicly available specific information on the peer review of influential scientific documents disseminated by the federal government.

OMB has defined two special categories of influential information:

  1. Influential Scientific Information (ISI)
  2. Highly Influential Scientific Assessments (HISAs).

Currently, CDC's viral hepatitis program only has documents deemed ISI.
