Overview
Tribal Practices for Wellness in Indian Country (TPWIC) supports culture as a path to chronic disease prevention and wellness in American Indian and Alaska Native communities.
TPWIC is currently supported through a 5-year cooperative agreement, which is funded from Fiscal Year (FY) 2022-2027.
- With about $5 million in funding per year, TPWIC funds the 35 tribes and Urban Indian Organizations listed below, with an average funding of $150,000 per recipient.
