*The CDC E-learning Institute (ELI)
The CDC E-learning Institute (ELI) is an online fellowship designed to cultivate skills of public health training professionals with limited experience designing or developing e-learning products. ELI offers access to CDC-developed materials and subject matter experts, as well as the opportunity to learn from peers in a positive, experiential environment.

Public health professionals and university or hospital teaching professionals who are involved in public health and responsible for developing training products

CDC Policy Academy Offers thorough, structured, competency-based training focused on core policy and related skills such as policy analysis, policy evaluation, systems thinking, and translation.

The Opioid Policy Fellows Program The Opioid Policy Fellows Program is focused on health policies and programs being addressed by state legislatures across the country, such as strengthening prescription drug monitoring programs, developing prescribing guidelines, increasing naloxone access, and supporting access to treatment and recovery services.

Science Ambassador Fellowship The Science Ambassador Fellowship is a 1-year professional development opportunity that provides training in curriculum design and teaching strategies that engage students in math and science using real-life epidemiology and public health science examples.

5-day course at CDC headquarters in Atlanta, GA, and a 1-year distance-based opportunity, not paid; program arranges and covers costs for travel, food, and lodging.

Science Rotations in the CDC Office of Science Supports professional development of CDC scientists pursuing a career track in the field of science leadership, management, and policy.

The Strategic Scholars Program The Strategic Scholars Program, a program developed and implemented by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI), uses a community of practice cohort model and multiple learning modalities to build governmental public health workforce capacity in eight strategic skill areas. Each cohort will focus on one strategic skill during their six month experience.
