Key points
- Active Bacterial Core surveillance (ABCs) publishes annual data that are available from several sources.
- ABCs maintains an extensive collection of isolates for the five ABCs pathogens.
- Both ABCs isolates and data are available upon request.
ABCs Isolate Bank
The ABCs Isolate Bank is an extensive collection of isolates for ABCs pathogens. The Isolate Bank is a joint project of CDC's Division of Bacterial Diseases, the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, and the CDC Biorepository.
