Purpose

The following product summary can be used by product providers to prepare orders for fall and winter virus season.

Presentations and Indications

ABRYSVO® is indicated for adults ages 60 years and older and pregnant individuals at 32 through 36 weeks gestational age.

Ordering and Return Policy

Minimum Initial Order

When ordering vaccines directly from Pfizer, there is no minimum initial order requirement.

Order directly on Pfizer Prime or contact Pfizer Customer Service at 800-666-7248. Customers can also work with their wholesaler, if preferred.

Return Policy

Unopened Vaccine

Product may be returned for return goods credit:

  • Short-dated product, in the original container and bearing the original label, within six months prior to the expiration date
  • Outdated product, in the original container and bearing the original label, up to twelve months beyond the expiration date

Opened vaccine cannot be returned.

Storage Requirements

Must be stored refrigerated between 2⁰C and 8⁰C (36⁰F to 46⁰F).

Diluent Type and Volume

Sterile Water Diluent; volume is approximately 0.5mL.

How the vaccine is supplied
  • ABRYSVO Act-O-Vial: Supplied in cartons of 1 and 10 Act-O-Vials, without syringes or needles. Each Act-O-Vial contains both the lyophilized antigen and sterile water diluent.
  • Pfizer's Act-O-Vial presentation is supplied in cartons of 1 and 10 Act-O-Vials, without syringes or needles. Each Act-O-Vial contains both the Lyophilized Antigen and Sterile Water Diluent.

Shelf Life

Shelf Life ABRYSVO®
Unopened, refrigerated vaccine 36 months from date of manufacture.

Store refrigerated at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F) in the original carton. Do not freeze. Discard if the carton has been frozen.
Opened, room temperature vaccine After reconstitution, administer ABRYSVO immediately or store at room temperature [15ºC to 30ºC (59ºF to 86ºF)] and use within 4 hours. Do not freeze reconstituted vaccine.

ABRYSVO received FDA approval in May 2023 for immunization of individuals 60 and older and in August 2023 for immunization of pregnant individuals at 32 through 36 weeks gestational age for the prevention of lower respiratory tract disease (LRTD) and severe LRTD caused by RSV in infants from birth up to six months of age
