Promoting Evidence-Based Decision Making in a Local Health Department, Pueblo City–County, Colorado

If a performance standard is not met within a program at the Pueblo City–County Health Department, the program becomes a quality improvement project in which the evidence-based decision making process is used as the method of improvement, synthesizing similar steps from the plan-do-check-act model.
