Low-Income Adults Aged 20-64 Years Have More Untreated Cavities.
- Among adults having 1–3 teeth with untreated cavities, the proportion of low-income (less than 200% FPG) adults is almost double that of high-income (greater than of equal to 200% FPG) adults (26.2% vs. 13.2).
- The proportion of low-income (less than 200% FPG) adults having greater than or equal to 4 teeth with untreated cavities is over three times that of high-income (greater than of equal to 200% FPG) adults (13.2% vs. 3.9%).
- Low income adults have 2 to 3 times more untreated cavities.
