Overview

We are pleased to announce the 10th American Conference on Human Vibration. This virtual conference will be June 9-11, 2025. The 1st American Conference on Human Vibration was held in Morgantown in 2006. Since that time the conference has been hosted by NIOSH or various universities in the United States and Canada.

Audience

  • Researchers and engineers in government and academia
  • Manufacturers of personal equipment that blocks or reduces vibration exposure
  • Physical and occupational therapists
  • Occupational health care providers

Conference topics

  • Methods to measure vibration of tools or vehicles
  • Sensors for measuring transmission of vibration
  • Occupations where vibration exposure is prevalent
  • Physiological and biological effects of vibration
  • Mechanisms underlying the development of vibration-induced disorders
  • Dose-response relationships between vibration and the risk of injury
  • Mathematical modelling of vibration exposures and transmission to the human body

Continuing Medical Education Credit

For information on receiving Continuing Medical Education credit, please send a separate email to the 10thACHV@cdc.gov.

Headings

  • Text should be organized using appropriate section headings, such as Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References
  • Section headings should be in bold and centered on the page.

Length
