Bulk Uploads
Medium and large group practices can use the National Health Care Surveys Registry Portal's Bulk Upload feature to simplify registration. Bulk uploads allow you to provide large volumes of data at one time. This helps the process move more smoothly and quickly.
Steps
- Log in to the National Health Care Surveys Registry Portal.
- Click the "Bulk Upload" button from the navigation bar on the left-hand side below "Registry Information."
- Download the Bulk Upload template by clicking the "Please click here to download your registrations" link at the bottom of the page.
- Review the "Instructions" tab of the Bulk Upload template.
- Fill in the downloaded spreadsheet template with required data elements and save it to your desktop.
- Save the completed Bulk Upload file to your desktop.
- Click "Choose File" to upload the completed Bulk Upload file to the NHCS Registry Portal.
Spreadsheet terms
User: The account holder who can manage the day-to-day operations of a registration in our Registry Portal system. Only users can reach out to hcs-support@cdc.gov on behalf of their registered providers, hospitals, and groups.
Upload confirmation
After submitting a Bulk Upload in the Registry Portal, you will receive two confirmation emails at the address listed in your registration.
- Bulk Upload File Received: this email will indicate that the file you uploaded has been received and is being processed.
- Bulk Upload Processing Successful: this email will confirm whether your upload has successfully completed processing.
If your Bulk Upload has failed, you will receive an email listing the errors in your submission. The message also will provide instructions to correct these errors. Once corrected, please resubmit your Bulk Upload in the Registry Portal.
Please allow time for your spreadsheet to process and appear on your dashboard.
