Notice to Readers: Sixth International Conference on Emerging Infectious DiseasesThe sixth International Conference on Emerging Infectious Diseases will be held March 16--19, 2008, at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. The conference brings together public health professionals to encourage exchange of scientific and public health information on global emerging infectious diseases. The conference will include plenary and panel sessions and oral and poster presentations. Topics will include antimicrobial resistance, bioterrorism and preparedness, foodborne and waterborne illnesses, global health, molecular diagnostics and epidemiology, nosocomial infections, respiratory and vaccine-preventable diseases, socioeconomic and political factors, vectorborne diseases, and zoonotic diseases.
