American Society for Microbiology, the Association of Public Health Laboratories, and the World Health Organization will cosponsor the International Conference on Emerging Infectious Diseases (ICEID) February 29--March 3, 2004, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. The conference will
explore the most current research, surveillance, and prevention and
control programs addressing all aspects of emerging infectious diseases. Attendance is limited to 2,500 participants. The deadline for advance registration is February 14, 2004. Registration information for ICEID 2004 is available at
