Symposium on Quantitative Methods for Utilization of Multi-Source Data in Public HealthCDC and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry will cosponsor the Symposium on Quantitative Methods for Utilization of Multi-Source Data in Public Health, January 26-27, 1993, in Atlanta. A short course in meta-analysis will be offered January 25, 1993, in conjunction with the symposium. The symposium and course are open to the public. Abstracts related to the following areas will be considered for presentation: identification, verification, and linkage of datasets; design of multi-source data studies; data analytic issues; meta-analysis, modeling, and other data analytic techniques; mapping and other graphical techniques; and use of surveillance data for comprehensive decisions in state and local health agencies. Abstracts should be postmarked no later than June 15, 1992.
