Photos of Measles

Below are examples of measles rashes on the human body. They usually begin as flat red spots that appear on the face at the hairline and spread downward to the neck, trunk, arms, legs, and feet. Some of these photos might be unsuitable for children. Viewing discretion is advised.

Koplik spots

Image of Koplik spots — This was a patient who presented with Koplik’s spots on palate due to pre-eruptive measles on day three of the illness.

This patient presented on the third pre-eruptive day with "Koplik spots" indicative of the beginning onset of measles.
