Audience: Clinical Laboratory Professionals
Level: Laboratory Update
CDC has developed guidance titled “Three Key Steps to Take While Waiting for Your COVID-19 Test Result.” CDC requests that testing facilities provide this guidance to individuals who have just been tested for SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19). The tested individuals should follow three main steps while they wait for their results:
- Stay home and monitor their health
- Think about the people they have recently been around
