Background
The CDC Specimen Test Order and Reporting (CSTOR) Web Portal is a central online resource to submit specimens, access test results, and view reports. CSTOR is used by CDC Infectious Disease (ID) laboratory partners (including the Association of Public Health Laboratories).
Review and export results
Once specimen test results and reports are approved for release, they are accessible through the CSTOR ‘View Reports’ module. To export results, highlight the desired rows and click the ‘Export Selected Rows’ button. To view or download a PDF report copy, click on the [paper] icon in the far right of the desired row.
Reports
Access
You can access reports within the ‘View Reports’ module in CSTOR.
Archive
You can archive reports that have already been viewed. In the ‘View Reports’ module on CSTOR, select the [eye] icon. Selecting the [eye] icon hides a report from view from everyone in your organization’s ‘View Reports’ grid.
To see all reports in your grid, select the “Include Hidden Reports” checkbox in the top right corner.
Troubleshoot
If your report is not displaying in CSTOR, make sure the "Include Hidden Reports" checkbox is selected. Please note that when searching for older reports, you will only be able to view reports that were released electronically after the laboratory switched to eReporting within CSTOR.
You may also view the View Reports User Guide within the CSTOR Training and Helpful Resources page for more information. If you are still unable to find your report, reach out to the CSTOR Team.
