Immunization information systems (IIS) are confidential, population-based, computerized databases that record all immunization doses administered by participating providers to persons residing within a given geopolitical area. Child Consent to Participate

For children, SDIIS requires mandatory inclusion by law. Children are included in the IIS with no possibility for their parent(s)/guardian(s) to opt them out.
