Immunization information systems (IIS) are confidential, population-based, computerized databases that record all immunization doses administered by participating providers to persons residing within a given geopolitical area. This information details how to access immunization records for vaccine recipients who received a vaccine in Maine.

Maine’s IIS is called ImmPact, and it includes immunization records for vaccine recipients of all ages. Visit this webpage to learn more about the IIS.
The jurisdiction is authorized by law to operate ImmPact. For more information, please see Maine Revised Statutes Title 22 § 1064.
Child Consent to Participate
For children, ImmPact requires implicit consent with opt-out by law. Children are included in the IIS unless their parent(s)/guardian(s) choose to opt them out.
