April 16 - 18, 2024 — The 3rd Annual NIHHIS National Meeting brought together multiple stakeholders (federal agencies, state and local government, private and public partners, community leaders) to discuss heat and health with the goal of reducing risk on multiple timescales and geographic scales. This meeting focused on engaging communities and developing a shared vision for community heat resilience. The three themes of the meeting included: Defining the Problem of Heat; Personal Exposure to Heat; and Community Action and Response to Heat.
