Dr. Brown is a Professor of Pediatrics and Genetics, Genomics, and Informatics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. He is also the Division Chief of Genetics at UT Health Science Center, Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Experience
Dr. Brown is certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics.
He is currently principal investigator and co-director of the UTHSC/Le Bonheur Children's Hospital Biorepository and Integrative Genomics (BIG) Initiative. The initiative has more than 30,000 participants enrolled from the Greater Memphis community.
Dr. Brown's has served as a reviewer and standing member of a National Institutes of Health study section. He has also served twice as an invited committee member for the National Academies of Sciences Engineering and Medicine.
