Purpose: Assess winter weather knowledge in Burleigh County in conjunction with the local National Weather Service (NWS).
Goal 1: Assess acceptability of winter weather warnings issued by NWS during extremely cold weather events in North Dakota, especially following the recent change in winter weather warnings.
Goal 2: Assess the emergency or disaster preparedness of the community.
Specific questions regarding well water use were also asked to those respondents on well water.
